A selection of exciting play equipment to support educational leaning

The initial development at Warstones Primary School is a great example of a design that includes a vast array of exciting play equipment that supports different areas of the national curriculum, play and outdoor learning.

Within the design a large sandpit complete with a beautiful, bespoke timber play house and equipment for the children to construct their own dens was included. A water play zone and our trademark ‘Infinite Mud Kitchen’ also provided the children with additional zoned areas in which to develop social bonds through communal, explorative and role-play based play.

The finished product

A similar project to this would cost £30,000

Educational boards were included to provide a surface upon which children were able to express and develop their artistic skills while a bike and trike track created via the use of bonded rubber mulch helps to define a particular area of the playspace for more intense physical activities.

A bespoke, colourful canopy extended the covered area of the play space bringing light and shelter to the design creating the ideal space for outdoor learning.

Several years after our initial installation at Warstones we returned to install a challenging robinia climbing structure in the KS1 playground that offered a wide range of features encouraging children to develop not only physical skills but risk management, teamwork and confidence through play.
